Portable Oxygen
When medical conditions require extra oxygen for our lungs to function properly, the need for portable oxygen
directly impacts our mobility. It becomes necessary to transport either an oxygen concentrator or oxygen cylinders
at all times. Common portable oxygen solutions combine lightweight cylinders of varying capacity with an oxygen
conservor that extends the use of portable oxygen tanks by carefully metering and sending "pulses" of oxygen to
the recipient - either with each breath, or with every other breath. Metering can be set to continually provide whatever
amount of supplemental oxygen is needed.
