Medical Flights
There is no easy way to transport a patient over great distances when they require continual care, monitoring,
and/or medical equipment. Time is often "of the essence", and circumstances may require moving the patient to
a facility at a location many miles away. A chartered medical flight, or air ambulance, may be the only answer in a critical
situation. Medical flights are also a convenient service for those who can afford an air ambulance, and commercial
flights are not on option under their condition. Medical flights are a pricey, but surprisingly common undertaking.
